Duties and Responsibilities
- Applies paints, sealers, and solvents to exterior and interior building surfaces with an airless sprayer, roller and brush.
- Performs building exterior and interior caulking, wood filling etc.
- Operates equipment such as airless spray equipment.
- Performs special refinishing tasks including wood surface preparation, staining, and sealing.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Performs preparation work such as masking windows, doors, trim and other household items.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Painter Requirements
- 2+ years previous experience as a Painter for residential or commercial buildings.
- 1+ year experience with operating an airless sprayer is required.
- Experience with painting from a extension ladder up to 30ft on uneven surfaces.
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Skill with paint, varnish, and other associated products
- Physical strength and stamina, including good balance and steady hands
- Superb attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Experience working with power tools preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
