Role Summary
Reporting to the Online Fulfilment Manager, the Online Warehouse Assistant will support the online fulfilment department at Bec + Bridge, focusing on 3 main priorities:
In this role, you will be responsible for Online Fulfilment. You will ensure that orders are efficiently picked and packed for the customer, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their online purchases. You will have excellent communication skills, a great eye for detail and be able to remain cool under pressure.

Online fulfillment is a busy area, with shifts covering all hours of the day and evenings. You may be required to work different shifts depending on busy periods and demand.
Priority 1: To process orders received online ensuring: accurate product is picked, packed and dispatched.
Priority 2: To ensure efficient and effective flow of daily packing operations and customer service levels.
Priority 3: To ensure compliance in stock management and security procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Picking
- To ensure accuracy and efficiency in picking processes.
- Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures
Packing
- Packing orders efficiently and accurately in a timely manner.
- With the manager, ensure supplies are ordered timely and stocked. (i.e. online packaging supplies; bubble mailers, cardboard shippers, returns forms, tissue paper, stickers - order for retail too, shipping labels, packing tape, packing cards, ecom folder, sales cards)
Dispatching
- Dispatching the correct order to the correct customer
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
- Manage repairs, dry cleaning and washing of damaged items, writing off stock when applicable.
- Inspect products for damages; report as needed
Key Performance Indicators
This role will support the department metrics which will be measured specifically as follows:
- Dispatching orders within the customer promise timeframe.
- Minimising wrong items being sent to the customer
- Maximising the number of orders fulfilled per day
- Customer Satisfaction for delivery >92.5%

- Ability to deliver work on budget (limiting OT when possible)
- Attendance – Ensuring we are showing up on time and in accordance with the attendance policy
